Privacy Policy

1. Who processes your data

This site is operated by Paulo Teixeira ("we", "controller"), reachable for privacy matters at contato@pteixeira.tech.

2. What we collect

Right now, the only personal data actively collected on this site is:

  • Your email address, when you sign up through the "Notify me" form to receive updates on AI, Cloud, Cyber, Data Science and Governance content.

We also collect basic, aggregated access data automatically (via Ghost's own analytics — see section 5), without third-party tracking cookies.

3. What we use your email for

  • Sending the signup confirmation email (magic link).
  • Sending updates when new content is published.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email for third-party marketing purposes.

Processing your email relies on your consent (LGPD Art. 7, I), given when you fill in and confirm the signup form. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see section 8).

5. Where your data is stored

This site runs on Ghost(Pro), the managed hosting platform operated by the Ghost Foundation. That means:

  • Your email and member signup data are stored on Ghost(Pro)'s infrastructure, which does not guarantee data residency in Brazil.
  • The confirmation/update emails are sent through Ghost(Pro)'s transactional email provider.
  • This site loads fonts from Google Fonts — your browser makes a request to Google's servers when the page loads, and Google may log your IP address per its own privacy policy.
  • Traffic analysis (how many people visit, from where) uses Ghost's own built-in analytics, which does not use third-party tracking cookies or sell data to advertisers.

We chose this hosting setup because it's appropriate for a personal brand's public site — we would not recommend the same setup for sensitive or higher-volume data processing without a dedicated impact assessment.

6. How long we keep your email

For as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your email is removed from our active list through Ghost's standard mechanism.

7. Who we share data with

  • Ghost(Pro) / Ghost Foundation — hosting and email delivery (processor).
  • Google Fonts — typography loading (see section 5).

We do not share your email with advertisers or data brokers.

8. Your rights (LGPD, Art. 18)

At any time, you can:

  • Unsubscribe — every email includes an unsubscribe link, or write to contato@pteixeira.tech.
  • Request confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, or information about who we share your data with.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, with no retroactive effect.
  • File a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) if you believe your rights weren't respected.

9. Cookies

If you create a member account (log in), Ghost sets a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this text as the site evolves (e.g., if we add paid membership content). The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
